Overview
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Starting from the very basics, get acquainted with your guitar. Learn the basic chords and rhythms leading you to start playing simple songs. The course will guide you through the whole process: from how to hold your guitar, finger placement, technique, and much more. It will give you the tool set you need to get started!
Lessons are delivered using videos in Maltese to make it easier for Maltese people to understand and follow along. Accompanying text and content is in English. For this course you will need a guitar and pick. Any six-string guitar will do but we recommend a classical or acoustic guitar (nylon or steel) to get started.
The lessons will teach you how to play but, as with any instrument or skill, it requires practice. The course provides a lot of practice exercises that will help improve your technique, with instructors showing you how to do these exercises. So grab your guitar and let’s get Strummin’!
The course will also grant you access to a Facebook group to join other aspiring guitarists embarking on this journey, as well as the course instructors and Strummin’ leaders to provide answers to any of your questions and to guide you along they way. The group also provides additional resources to continue your guitar journey.
CERTIFICATION
At the end of the course you will receive a certificate that you can keep as a token of the course. But the greatest achievement is the skills learnt that you can use to play your favourite songs!
