Martha has always been surrounded by music from an early age, being always involved in a number of choirs, guitar ensembles and groups.  At age 14 she joined the very first edition of Strummin’ back in 2002 as a guitarist and singer, and has been involved in the project ever since.  After a few years she joined the group of teachers and since then it has been her highlight of the summer to return back to teach the cast of guitarists.  Apart from guitar she has been involved in several choirs and groups both locally and abroad.  Back to Basics has always been a passion project for Martha and she is thrilled to see it come to live in person and virtually.
